Happy birthday to anyone who also had a birthday this weekend! Louie and I just had our first gig yesterday together for a child's birthday!
We played and sang music! The children absolutely LOVED IT! It was such a beautiful experience! They want to touch him and play with him. They really believed he was alive!!! The age range was 1-4 years with most of the children at 4 years of age. It began with Madame Tanya singing 4 songs in French then 2 silly songs in english and then we called for LOUIE to come out and play and that was the highlight of the show. The children danced and sang so cheerfully while coming very close to him.
Louie and I realized a lot of great things yesterday. The children loved the songs and the silly adorable Louie but also didn't mind so much that there was a person hiding behind the couch making him sing and dance. They just continued having fun. We are planning to make a stage very soon.
After this high energy performance, Louie left them with this picture for the children to color at home.
